Can be an easy going job at times with plenty of free time.

Pros

They have great meal plans, great uniforms, great benefits, and they are very supportive, but in a 'fake' manner. It is refreshing for a company to empower employees to make decisions on how to treat guests without having to fill out form after form - they treat you like you are a smart competent worker most of the time.

Cons

the supervisors and upper management have NO idea how to work any software, and they view each situation 'on paper' instead of taking into account how the customer was feeling at the time. They became incredibly angry when mistakes happened due to a breakdown in communication, not a mistake by any one employee.

Good job security, people are very fiendly, management helps answer most questions you might have.

horrible pay, not always recognized for above and beyond service work wild shifts
