Pros

Hour lunch break. Relatively easy work. Secretarial staff is paid well.

Cons

Management is horrible. Support staff is treated infairly by management and attorneys. You are not allowed to leave the floor for any reason. You have to account for every minute. NO employee perks. Paralegals are way underpaid and overworked. Management hires people with low salary in a file clerk position. Then promote them to paralegal on same salary. No raise. Great business/ law firm- bad for employees

Pros

There are absolutely no pros to working at this firm, none at all.

Cons

Horrible place. 1. The managing partner is a tyrant and loses his temper at anything and everything and he is very disrespectful to those women who are not young and pretty; 2. The office manager is a joke and does nothing but gossip on her phone all day and does not handle managing the staff (instead the managing partner, who is overwhelmed to begin with, took over that job which according to this company’s guidelines is inappropriate); 3. The staff is very unfriendly with many of them being incompetent; 4. The air conditioning and heat do not work on the floor causing employees to work in 90 degree and 60 degree conditions, for which management does nothing about; 5. There are absolutely no perks and/or bonuses; 6. There is absolutely no respect for employees; 7. Management in Jacksonville and Philadelphia is one sided and does not care about employees’ inputs, especially of that of highly qualified and experienced employees; 8. Turn around in this office is extremely high; 9. Billables for paralegals is very high (128 hours a month with only working 7.5 hours a day) and the attorneys practically work 10 hour days leaving no time for a good family life; 10. Half of the staff has had COVID (most likely due to lack of precautions being enforced); and 11. Pay is very low and annual raises are less than cost of living raises (1-2% if you are lucky). I could go on and on, but I hope I have painted a good picture of the working environment at this firm and anyone thinking about working here should re-consider

All of our offices follow state, local and CDC guidelines as it relates to COVID-19 to ensure the safety of our employees, which we take very seriously. Pros

The attorneys I worked for were great!

Cons

Working for three heavy hitters (all shareholders) is not a smart idea. I had the qualifications and knowledge of medical malpractice and I had a tough time getting all the work done. They need to hire more knowledgeable, qualified assistants for that department. Not everyone is fit for that position.
