Pros

Very smart, helpful and collaborative colleagues all around. Not too political for finance standards. Solid tech stack and an unusually genuine focus on good technology, with actual trust placed into the tech organisation.

Cons

Very lean tech org compared to the size of the tech stack and overall find - meaning roles are demanding and can be stressful with a high degree of responsibility. Doesn't subjectively feel nearly as strenuous as most competitors though due to good management of company culture.

Pros

Efficiency in Task Management: The focus on churning out tickets from a backlog highlights an efficient approach to task management. Leadership Skills in Sales: The CTO demonstrates commendable abilities in sales, which is a valuable asset to the company. Staff: most ground level staff is helpful and professional

Cons

Work Culture: There's an intense focus on output, often at the expense of fostering a culture of innovation and open communication. Management Focus: There is a notable emphasis on technical skills in management roles, overshadowing the importance of soft skills and team development. This impacts the overall effectiveness of the management, especially for those promoted based on tenure or technical expertise alone. Hiring and Team Growth: Certain teams exhibit challenges in hiring diversely skilled individuals, focusing excessively on finding "rockstar" candidates, which leads to gaps in basic coding and delivery.
