It paid the bills, but took my soul.

Pros

Pays the bills. Decent benefits package and pay. Company did great in time of recession, and management would work with me when I needed to tinker with my schedule.

Cons

Not very good leadership. Unprofessional at times, and I often felt unappreciated for the work that I did while employed there.

Pros

After two years working you will make more than twenty dollars an hour but you need to put in your time. Starting pay as of 2011 is 15.

Cons

Not based on production pay unlike U.S. Food Service. You have to fight with the seniority to and possibly get bullied by them. A lot of bosses! You will most likely start out in the freezer and expected to pick a lot of cases. If you don't make the production they want you to have, you're gone! They fired all 5 that started with me. Once you make your 3 month probation. You must go Union to keep your job. That is another 40 bucks.
