short term(1-2 years), outlook is good...but long term, very uncertain...
Pros
MRVL stock will continue to improve in short term due to dumping dead weight from company portfolio, focusing on categories where gross margins are 50%+ and layoff or sell all other portfolio. Also, improving low hanging fruit efficiencies. Once that is done, frankly the company has poor remaining IP, and no way to compete with the big players in automotive and networking. Hard drive will continue but really slow growth segment. SSD - "sounds good", but big % gain is on low basis so don't fall for that story. New management is paid a ton of money(CEO 15M in year 1), so all they want is to get the short term gains and sell the company..but there will be few buyers and if one emerges, no more than 15% premium on stock at $19(where it will be once buyers sniff around). SOOO, unless you are high level or get alot of equity, and get a change of control, you won't make much in equity value by working at marvell...you will get used, while the big guys and shareholder activist take all the gravy from your hard work..
