Pros

Pay is very competitive. A vast majority of mid-to-lower level employees are awesome, salt-of-the-earth people.

Cons

The core of the company (ownership/upper management) is rotten. They're all friends, most have been with the company 40+ years, and, simply put, they're just not good people. Out of the ten I've met and worked with, there are three who I can say are exceptions to this. The company's paid holiday schedule is the worst I've ever seen. I believe they pay for 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day (only), Christmas Day (only), and New Year's Day (only). And do not expect to be able to work remotely. All this to say, if you have an opportunity to make significantly more money working at Marvin... use that opportunity as a very temporary placeholder as you search for a more permanent home.

The company attracts and retains highly skilled professionals, which not only enhances the work environment, but also fosters personal and professional growth. Collaborating with a talented team is a key contributor that helps employees progress. Marvin offers excellent benefits as a small company and truly cares for their staff. The company is very generous when it comes to work life balance. The salaries are fair and equitable for those that are willing to put in the work.

Cons

There are employees that do not put in their full contribution and this has caused problems with moral. It seems that this been addressed in the last year with restructuring of departments.
