Pros

Benefits are good. Great co-workers, we watch out for each other.

Cons

Poor Management. The current driver supervisor is nothing more than a puppet for the previous driver supervisor who is still "amazingly" employed there. Driver supervisor won't talk to the drivers, turns his back on the drivers and lies, blames his mistakes on the drivers. Will only communicate to the drivers via text message and since we are driving we can't text back. He won't answer his phone when you call, so if there's a problem, you're on your own.

It was a good entry level job but there wasn't much room for advancement.

Pros

Laid back atmosphere, a lot of freedom in job, provided training, ability to travel to different plants

Cons

Not very professional at times in IS department, lower level management wasn't very good, no room for advancement as everybody seems to retire in their positions

Pros

Great insurance for you, spouse and children for full time employees. (Not for your significant others though.) Very safe place. Very safety oriented. A lot safer than any other manufacturing facilities that I've seen.

Cons

There are cliques/bullies here just like high school. (But that is everywhere.) Hours are impossible for people with children and they don't work with you. (Days start at 4 am and Swing shift doesn't get off till 12 am.) No job flexibility and no real room for growth. Senior management outside of Baker Location tout "family owned,' but this is not reflected in practice. Long term employees get the short end of the stick ALWAYS.
