      The hourly paid training was great but it's more like sales once your out on your own

      Pros

      Independence, company vehicle, hourly paid training.

      Cons

      Piece rate pay, non paid travel, mandatory unpaid meetings, in Connecticut there is a vast probability that you will show up at a customers house to find that they don't have line of sight to receive service. This is also an unpaid hardship that can add more unpaid travel time into your day.

      Advanced Technologies division, once a good company but went down hill fast.

      Pros

      If you have a heart beat, you have a job. Company vehicle and phone.

      Cons

      They will hire anybody as a tech, New management ran good employees off. Too much downsizing. They own you, literally. No work/life balance and they don't care about you having any personal time. Old and out-dated tools and technology make getting the job done difficult. Severely micromanaged. Techs are held accountable for issues out of their control and deducted pay. Middle management WAY over worked and must be available nearly 24/7. Everyone was constantly in fear of losing their job.
