Pros

None! You have to pay to take the vehicle home even though it's in the company's best interest to let you.

Cons

Where do I start. Uncompetitive rates for piece work. Management rules by a culture of fear. Constantly and for no reason you are threatened with termination. Expected to work extended hours because dispatch is incompetent, routing you back and forth between cities. Too much work and not enough techs. Warehouse does not provide an adequate amount of stock, constantly having to track down parts from other technicians. For the amount of effort and time required this job pays minimum wage. Take your knowledge and expertise and go somewhere else.

Pros

Benefits, supervisors are ok.if pay was little more equal would be great job

Cons

There's new receivers coming out that don't pay nothing...i been there a year and a half and I made more money when I first started,,they keep adding to your to do list and dock pay..whats up with that..be ready work 10 to 12 hours a day..and if work slack you sit in a parking lot untill 4:30..and get piece pay, so parking lots,no line sight, cancels dont pay nothing

Pros

Your co-workers can be great. If you work your butt off for six days a week, you can make decent money.

Cons

Management does not care about you or your safety. They care about the minimum required to keep lawsuits off them. They refuse to pay for the time that you spend going to your first job, and coming home from your last one. The pay is not fair for the amount of work you do. I can and have spent 12 hours a day working just to make $50, because you're paid by the amount of jobs you close. Their training is very minimal. The trainers have no incentive to train you properly, so when you're out on your own, good luck knowing what to do. The routing system is abominable. I have wasted hours every day just commuting to and from jobs they put on me. I can have three jobs all within 15 minutes of each other, and one that's an hour and a half drive away.
