Poor hiring practice
Terrible communication
Possible age discrimination
I got the job. Received an offer letter and welcome email on a Friday. All I had to do was complete my drug screen, which was set for Monday. I received an email Monday morning, on my way to the drug screen, letting me know that my start date was full and they would have to set a different one. Of course they did not know when that would happen. Two days later they informed me that I was no longer considered for this role.
How do you go from an offer letter to no longer being considered? Why hire more people than you need? There is either no communication amongst their staff or possible discrimination based on my background check (which was clean). The information that is gathered from a background check can produce an age bias.
Also, this place does nothing tell you up front that you have to have your own tools but can buy from them.
Also think about if I had quit a job based on the fact that this place hired me.
As you can tell I am not happy and would not recommend any job with this company.
