Pros
Competitive pay rates, benefits are fair, no time pressure... which is used as a crutch to drag jobs out... works to the employees benefit lol.
Cons
For a company that has so much to offer, the employees resources are extremely limited. This place or “area” is mind blowing. We give, give, and give to a management team who absolutely cares about nothing but their personal benefit. To talk to employees from different regions and to hear how good they have it will almost push you to walking away. Every morning I walk into work I see guys who literally give their all day in and day out, some of the more skilled workers in the yard who struggle to make ends meet, working for pay that they were hired in at 2 years ago and ask myself why do I want to work somewhere like this. We have absolutely no input in anything. My boss doesn’t have a spec book and I can assure you it’s because of the cost to print it... and we constantly have to go back to jobs we have completed and then hear our management complain. The clothes we wear are clothes that we are given but yet we supposedly have an online account to order from... wonder if they have ever heard of payroll deductions if we go over? We are given coats to wear under rubber gloves and sleeves that are thicker than my bedspread because it’s cheap... that’s if you are fortunate enough to have one. We have no rainsuits but work in all kinds of weather and we will be sent home if we wear one that isn’t FR. I could easily go on and on but if you get nothing out of this message just remember to chose the location you work out of wisely or go elsewhere.
