Pros

Good coworkers, great benefits, stellar location. Leadership is really taking a focus on modernizing healthcare.

Cons

Little focus on growing employees, no support from management, below average pay. My manager questioned my hours and showed me a completely incorrect estimation of what they thought I had been spending my time on. I got sick and my manager told me that I should take less PTO. Another manager ignored my bringing up serious security issues for nearly a year before taking action. Whenever I brought these issues up with higher management, they discounted my experiences and suggested that it was "not my responsibility".

Pros

There is a vast opportunity to learn about medical practices, technologies and culture.

Cons

Too much politics are at play here. Instead of concentrating on doing an honest day's work people spend energy and effort to demean good colleagues to their managers as a strategy for their own promotions. Yes, the work environment gets too clique-ish when all takes is just one toxic personality using vicious rumors to cause divisions among team members. Oddly, it's the H-1B workers who are the least team-oriented, focused only on their individual achievements in that they withhold vital knowledge from coworkers, fail to show up to meetings, resist cooperation and never voluntarily and quietly pitch-in to help coworkers.
