      Mission is great. Perks are amazing. Offices are very pampering.

      Cons

      Atmosphere after layoffs and restructuring is tricky. There's still hope in the air but also a lot of fear.

      - Collaborative culture across different functions - "Household brand", helps to get in touch easily with strategic partners - Interesting projects/ deals

      - At times, there's still some silos - Some system improvements may still be needed in some areas, though I've experienced good experience overall

      Pros

      I hired on in 2014 with Mass Mutual after initially being turned away by a young person interviewer barely older than my youngest daughter. Having finished my masters in business administration just 5 years prior. I was surprised to receive a call the same day asking me how my interview went. At 60, I had seen my share of age discrimination and stated this to the caller. The next day that caller interviewed me and I was asked to start the following Monday. The next few years working for this fortune 500 company impressed me with the company's moral standards and picture perfect business model. If there was a company portrayed in my post graduate studies as a leader in their industry,that leads by example this one excels.
