      Helps one develops immense self motivation due to the high pressure nature of the business. Encourages professional networking. Will help hone communication and influencing skills.

      Cons

      Management should spend more 1 on 1 time on teaching representatives concepts in financial planning, placing less emphasis in the process of making the sale to keep employee satisfaction high.

      Pros

      Front line managers do care about their staff and work to help them be successful.

      Cons

      Becoming more and more like a stock company (layoffs nearly every year of some kind or another). Communication is not always the best from senior level down to folks on the floor. Pushing to do more with less staff. Lots of folks putting in extra time to meet deadlines.

      Fortune 500 Company, good benefits package, room to grow if you have an entreprenurial mindset, good produtucs with wide array.

      Cons

      Old conservative company, not willing to adapt quickly to industry changes, not the best commision structure, must be self-motivated, not much assitance.
