Pros
One of the best hospitals in the country, with first-rate nurses, physicians, administrators, and other staff. You work with some of the 'best of the best.' As an employee, the size and complexity of the place gives you an opportunity to work on projects and issues you might not have elsewhere. It is easy to understand why so many employees stay for 20+ yrs.
Cons
Given its size and complexity, the organization can move slowly. Also, while there is plenty of opportunity to move across the organization, 'moving up the ranks' takes time, and can be a challenge.
