Pros

Most of the lower-ranking employees are very friendly and welcoming.

Cons

Owners and Management are extremely racist, vindictive, overly secretive, unprofessional, misleading, and displayed poor communication, as well as unethical/illegal business practices; I worked for this company for almost two years and saw a turnover of more than 25 employees; Management post misleading information on employment websites that they do not deliver on, a complete bait and switch; Management barely trains new employees, so they are setup for failure from the beginning; Management watches the cameras as if they are watching a soap opera and spread rumors to employees to turn them against one another and/or phish for information; Management has denied employment to potential candidates and terminated employees for various racial, weight, appearance, and cultural reasons, yet they claim to be an Equal Opportunity Employer; Management/Owners constantly interrogate and attempt to intimidate employees; Employees are constantly told to lie to customers, which the customers see right through and become irate; Massage Heights' goal is to lock members into an auto-drafting and auto-renewing contract and make it almost impossible to get out of; The company is completely money-driven; They pay very poor wages and do not care about if their employees get any sort of restroom or lunch breaks, nor the state or condition of their health; The work environment at any location that I've worked at was completely hostile and every employee seemed miserable and were worried about how they would make ends meet, financially; They terminate employees and dispute ALL unemployment claims; I've seen management unlawfully withhold funds from employees' paychecks and dispute employee hours..this is just SOME of the unethical/unlawful business practices that I've witnessed and experienced. I had to block the owners/management from contacting me. They will harass you if they feel threatened or try to intimidate you with legal action for speaking out against them. They even tried to contact me through previous colleagues which I had a close relationship with. My advice is to stay away from this company!!

Pros

Not. One. Thing. I want to say that this job was a total waste of time, but I am actually glad I experienced it. I was lucky and always worked for companies that respected and cared for their employees. I was always naive regarding companies that treat their staff like absolute garbage. Not anymore. This place really opened my eyes to the realization of horrible companies out there and I now know what to look for.

Cons

Where do I start? The salary listed on the job ad is not what is offered upon hire. It is stated that the location is very successful and you will receive the salary desired once you hit a certain goal which is so easy to do because the location is doing great. NOPE! You then find out that the location has been declining for years and that you will never make your goal because the place has been a revolving door for years with the worst reputation I have ever seen in a customer service industry. You desperately need a massage due to all of the stress but there is nothing you would rather do than to step foot in that place when you do not absolutely have to so you cannot even get that done for yourself. You are expected to then answer calls and respond to guest complaint emails immediately even when you are home or off. And trust me! The guest complaints flood in daily.

Pros

There's no perks. You don't get a free massage. They give seniority but treat the new employees like crap. Do yourself a favor and stay away from massage heights. No wonder there's more massage envy, because they actually do better than heights.

Cons

Had issues with the front desk playing favoritism. They don't pay you to do THIER laundry. Coworkers at the location were rude and fake. I'd give this place negative stars if I could. The clinic was disgusting. There were roaches inside the place. The break room is essentially a laundry room. No place to move or eat. I'd never recommend anyone to work here.
