Pros

Master Electronics encourages creative problem-solving and innovation, allowing employees to explore new ideas and approaches. They allow for us to have a more direct and noticeable impact on the company's success and growth, which leads to great recognition for our contribution. Due to the rapid growth there are tons of opportunity for advancement to climb the ladder and learn more.

Cons

You might be wearing different hats, which can be both a pro and con, as it might limit your ability to specialize in one area.

Pros

Company culture is bar none. People are respected to be who you are.

Cons

Nobody seems to agree on how to run anything. Growing pains are one thing but it has currently gotten to a point of severe frustration

Pros

Decent work life balance, open office concept that is noisy and prone to distraction and talking to your friends. Hard to believe anything is actually getting done so its easy to skirt by

Cons

The biggest *ick* factor of this company is the annual weight loss competition. They weigh in everyone at the beginning of the year and then everyone is 'On a Diet' to win prizes and bragging rights, but it turns into a low key way for people to weight shame and scrutinize your lunch and other habits. The safety guy wore a plastic bag like 2 straight days to 'sweat it out' to win. Thought someone needed to call an ambulance, he looked so sick. Last year the executive team went on this 5 day water-fast to 'kill zombie cells' and a big part of the company joined in on the starvation, like they were following a cult leader. Very disturbing culture overall. I could understand a health initiative if there were classes on healthy eating or a dietitian to help people reach goals, but for months everyone was just depriving themselves and generally hangry
