In my 26 years of work experience, I've had several jobs, but until coming to Master Electronics I never thought about what I did for a living as a career. I was welcomed from day 1. My work was openly recognized and appreciated. And my thoughts and opinions were sincerely valued. I am not alone in this feeling and it why we have such a low turnover rate compared to others in our industry. We're proud of the fact that we are not an overly "corporate" culture. Our senior management is a highly approachable and respected group. And how much they value their employees is demonstrated regularly.

Cons

We are a quickly growing company and there are some "growing pains" associated with this. Some level of patience is required, but worth it.

Pros

The owners are working hard to build a world-class organization with a focus on people, culture, and performance. We celebrate our successes. We give back to charities and volunteer in our communities. My voice is heard by my leader.

Cons

Master is not for everyone. You need to know that coming in. At times the place feels like a start-up, like business units doing their own thing to succeed. That might have worked at Apple and Microsoft back in the day but sustained success today also comes from team collaboration, standards/practices/policies. If you're the type of employee that doesn't do well in an ever-changing environment this is not the place for you.
