      This company is a good company. Their new shared services is a nightmare

      Pros

      The company pays better than market to their employees. The time off policy is very generous. The O Fallon building has many perks for the employee.

      Cons

      The culture and the actual environment are totally different. MasterCard HR tries to promote work/life balance. Putting the employees first. The actuality is long hours, overworked staff, and a hostile work environment. Management is worried about covering themselves and showing up others so they look good with no regard to the result of the dept. or other employees trying to do their best.

      Pros

      Decent salary and benefits. MC leadership seems good and focused.

      Cons

      Very political and Truaxis is run by two people who have no experience in digital or eCommerce. All processes are aimed at making the AM's team job easier. It's the tail wagging the dog. Seriously flawed leadership who hires other unqualified people to say yes to the leaders. Needs a complete overhaul to be a viable company.

      Salary, flexibility, some very smart and innovative people

      Cons

      For a company that is suppose to be cutting edge on innovation, mobile commerce, and technology, getting anything actually completed is at a snail's pace. Too much bureacracy, constant backstabbing. Anyone with an ounce of ethics is miserable which is fortunate for the company because most employees don't have any.
