Pros

Multiple systems to gain experience on. Insurance. But thats fishing.

Cons

Micromanagement. denied approval on equipment needed. No realistic retirement plan. Handbook changes without updating workers ( i.e. honored holidays have slowly decreased in numbers throughout the year.) Maintenance technicians on call get no compensation of any type. Salary with no overtime.

Pros

I’m struggling these days to find any pros at Mastronardi. My co-workers are the most positive aspect of my job.

Cons

Since leadership does not communicate with us, I’m choosing to leave this review. Im not sure if they think if they don’t acknowledge it, it will go away but it’s just not how it works. The past two years I’ve been here merit increases have been late. Last year it didn’t get paid until Sept this year we have not heard a word. I went back to check my offer and yes it indeed said June for merit pay out. Are they technically or legally breaking my employment contract by not abiding my the terms laid out in there? We are into Sept and there has been no acknowledgment or communication. With inflation, cost of living and gas prices the average American is loosing money if their employer is not making the appropriate wage adjustments. Not that our increases are great, does 1.5% even count these days? Mastronardi does nothing to show appreciation for all the hard work that is put into to keeping the company successful. We have no flexibility, no remote day option (which would help with gas), a crappy vacation plan and God awful 401k structure. The least they could do is give us our pitiful merit increase on time. And they scratch their heads over the significant turn over, maybe you need to be less selfish leaders and start giving to your employees.
