Pros

Compensation was competitive for in-house geosteering. 12/7 schedule was very fair. Unstructured promise of promotion potential after a couple of years to the asset level.

Cons

Geology leadership encourages exclusion and favoritism, calling it company loyalty. The longest tenured geologists in MAXCOM undermine and demean new hires to management out of competition. This has led to nearly 100% turnover of new hire geologists in the past three and a half years.
