Pros

Great people (fellow workers, management doesn't associate with us plebs). Good culture for young people (sports clubs, foosball, pool table, happy hours, video game clubs etc).

Cons

Next to impossible to get a raise without a promotion. Bonuses are used instead, which keeps base salary constant, upon which they base the bonus (neat trick).

Lots of autonomy, leadership is responsive to changing market conditions, competitive opportunities and focused on growing the business through delighting customers.

Cons

Can be very fast paced, so you can never get comfortable!

Large company benefits with small company feel

Pros

The people are what makes the difference. Everyone is cool and fun to work with. It's a .com feel even though the company is 20 years old

Cons

The headquarters is in Dallas so sometimes communication or collaboration is more difficult due to the physical as well as time defference.
