Pros

Good pay for part time high school and college students Flexible hours Looks good on College Apps

Cons

Teaching dumb kids can be frustrating. Potentially mentally exhausting depending on how many kids you deal with at a time. Various rules and procedures can appear redundant and irritating. While most parents are understanding and look for what's best for their kids, some treat it as a baby-sitting service, forcing you to balance between actual teaching and keeping down rowdy kids.

Cons

The compensation is okay, Private tutors make much more, Kids can be very difficult to motivate, Sometimes it seems like you are doing a lot of work while other instructors aren't
