      Very professional environment and fun to be around

      -Open about 22 hours a week -Pay minimum wage -Some kids are headaches and hard to deal with

      Pros

      The pros for working at Mathnasium are many and excellent but hard too remember.

      Cons

      I looked at jobs at the teaching center Mathnasium (two different locations). The salary is $12 per hour with a possible promotion to $14 per hour. Moreover, the salary during the first month of "training" is only $10 per hour. Bagging groceries at Trader Joe is lucrative by comparison!

      Great pay, considering the flexible hours and the fact that it is part time

      Cons

      Demands change almost instantaneously; I had no idea whether I would be meeting, exceeding, or falling below expectations of time commitment. Management was not very good at communicating when we were falling below expectations, so discipline was always a surprise
