Pros

There are so many exciting things happening at MatrixCare. The company has great products to offer to the LTPAC market and continues to make these products better and better. The company offers great service to clients as well. The people at MatrixCare are dedicated and passionate about what they do. There is a sense that everyone is contributing to something great and making a difference for our customers and those they serve. Flexible scheduling is a HUGE plus at MatrixCare and makes it easy to balance work and life. They have a full set of benefits for their employees. People are generally nice, collaborative, and easy to work with.

Cons

Because of growth by acquisition, there are not many consistent processes for everyone to follow. Process change isn't championed by leadership, so if anyone tries to improve a process it doesn't go over well. The company values speed, sometimes at the expense of quality. Leaders make decisions without consulting managers and other resources and then give directions based on these decisions only to find out that they should have directed the team to do something different. When they direct the team to do something different, they make it seem as if the team leader did something wrong in the first place. There is so much time and money wasted as this cycle is repeated over and over again (go do “A”, wait you should have done “Z” and why isn't "Z" done yet). Sometimes it seems like the leaders of the company lead by bullying instead of inspiring and collaborating with managers and other key resources; this is sad and causes the company to lose a lot of good people.

Thanks for taking the time to write this review. MatrixCare has grown over the last year and a half with several acquisitions. This has led to some challenges with combining like products and services and a growing workforce. While we strive to “get it right” the first time, sometimes we fall short. We have worked hard to provide communication through all-hands meetings, quarterly reviews and other means to ensure that employees are informed of the company game plan and milestones.Bonnie Schultz, Director, Human Resources Operations

Pros

None that I can think of. The place is horrible!

Cons

This company lacks respect for its employees and customers. They provide lack luster training at best and manage through intimidation. Its leaders, all of whom are mostly men are very egotistic and womanizing. One in particular is the worst! In my opinion, the entire leadership staff needs some shaking up or internal investigating done on some of its leader's staff relationships. Employees are not happy but are too afraid to speak up. This is the worst company I have ever come into contact with. Buyers and anyone who is considering working with this company beware!
