Pros
Great technology, CEO vision, access to leadership, remote first, employee-focused culture, career development and opportunities for growth. Don’t believe all the bad reviews you read here. Yes the company did a layoff this year but there are few tech companies out there that haven’t. If you can’t handle the volatility of tech, then go work for the government. And the layoff was done to move us to profitability. Some people just like to complain about the morale. It’s not as bad as some would have you believe. We had a great offsite for engineering and product a month ago! Also the company pays the full premium for benefits.
Cons
Remote first makes it hard to develop relationships but the company has done some things to combat this including an opportunity to meet up in various cities. Speed in decision making could be better but overall we keep moving forward.
