      Dynamic Company with a Great Opportunity, albeit some growing pains

      Pros

      There are a lot of really smart people; the product is one of a kind, the technology is cutting edge and it's actually a fun product to be associated with in that it has a lot of exciting uses. Our customers are really passionate about what we are building and we are growing quickly. The benefits are great for a small company, ie a fabulous lunch program, laundry, gym membership, and matching 401k. It is an energizing atmosphere.

      Cons

      We are working on a lot of things, and are spread a bit thin. We are not all in one office, which can make it hard (for people in the remote offices) to feel connected to headquarters. As a VC-backed company, there is definite pressure to maintain the growth.

      Micromanaging Call Center with poor pay

      Pros

      Health care. Office location (not office itself) Product is good and can make a difference in multiple industries. There are some great salespeople in the office who would do great in other environments.

      Cons

      You are not a true salesperson. You are a rat on a wheel. Prepare to be micro managed to the point where you don't get to assess when you should be calling people. The office is crammed. You are managed by people who can't even sell themselves, but can track your activity level. Commission is laughable, and new employees are promised anywhere between 60 and 70K which top reps don't come close to hit. Zero executive leadership, very reactive and sales is treated like the whipping boy for the entire company. I'd like to be a "manager" or whatever that is.

      Pros

      Good healthcare and 401K match. Innovative product that is different and has a place in the real estate photography market.

      Cons

      When you remove the sugar coating, this role is only about being a glorified "camera salesman" on the phone all day every day and it is not easy. It's getting more and more boring every day. And the market is getting saturated. Hate to admit it this with several years of work experience but this role is entry level with low pay and low morale. Professional photographers compete against us every day. Being tied down to this office every day is definitely not optimal.
