The DM never forwarded my resignation to base camp and your company refuses to pay me my PTO, she also never filed the workers comp papers for an injury I received & the doctor she forced me to have to is suing me over the bill

Pros

Maverik is consistently trying to improve by having the updated scheduling, waste and labeling programs. Maverik is growing! It truly offers a better service then its competitors by far. They constantly give back to the employees, free backpacks etc., a huge discount on food and a bonus to every employee if the store makes the goals. The owner is a CEO which just shows to me the investment they have in the company. They're constantly rewarding good behavior and encouraging us to learn. They offer gym reimbursement and college reimbursement too!

Cons

Some growing pains as they try new things. Of course each experience varies on the managers of the stores. Career opportunities are limited out you're not wanting to move around.

Pros

Maverik it's self is an OK company to work for. OK benefits, the usual for a gas station. Though I will say it is a much better company to work for than 7-11, if gas stations are your thing.

Cons

Depending on who the store director is depends on what you are and what you get. I have found that it appears that in many of the stores it is very "clickish " Alot of drama based on personel. Also not Alot of paid time off, and even requesting a day off is like pulling teeth. As bakery manager I worked from 5 am To 1 pm. If I was lucky. Plus weekends and usually didn't get off till 3 or 4 pm. It is ALOT of work for one person especially in the morning rush, and there resistance to get you help is very strong because of the income to salary ratio, but white collar knows nothing!!
