Some great store team members

Worst job I have ever had. Company does not care about employees unless they are performing. Direction from “Directors” are micromanaging and uncaring to store team below. Long hours, no work life balance, made to feel bad for being sick, taking vacation or enjoying your weekend time off. Would not recommend my worst enemy to work at Mavis. High turn over at all levels below Directors-RTM and store teams. Unless you are a masochist don’t work for Mavis. Pay is okay but not for the hours and abuse you are subject to.

Cancelled employee health insurance with no notice

Cons

Mavis took over our company. The same day they cancelled everyones health insurance without telling us, cut our PTO time and reduced our pay. They were rude and would d not provide us with information. No care for employees. Also disconnected the phone number to our local shop so now customers checking on their car must call out of state instead of directly to the shop where the car is

Was a great job, loved it!

Pros

Great team work atmosphere, competitive group who always pushed each other for results. Never felt threatened to push the help to sell regardless of customer needs.

Cons

New management structure overhaul has destroyed that team atmosphere and makes all fear they will not have a job if they do not sell at ALL COSTS regardless of customer needs. HR has worked hard to change this image in the company and was making great strides in achieving their goal. Why this is allowed, to put this kind of fear in all who work for him is beyond me. No doubt it will cost Mavis several very valuable employees.
