The focus is on money,numbers and it comes before patients and employees.

Pros

flexiblity, and less demanding on your body physically; if you cant move around for as long or as much. If you can get a good rate and good hours for a private duty case. Thats a big if. If you have mouths depending on you then I would have a back up plan.

Cons

low wages, 1-23hr for RN, no raises unless they are desperate. Recruiters constantly lie and speak to nurses with little respect. They care more about their weekly commission than the patient or the nurses.

Overall my experience at Maxim has been positive, it's hard work but you get what you put in.

Pros

Team environment. They invest in their employees, you don't necessarily have to have experience, they take the time to train you. Opportunities for growth. Benefits with PTO Corporate structure

Cons

Long hours; ten hour days, five days a week. You have to be on call at least once a week; depending on how many recruiters there are it could be up to 4 times a week. Low pay for the work you do.

Tucson Office, Surprisingly they are still in business

Pros

Company requires many hrs of orientation and training.

Cons

Moody office staff. Retaliation and punishment are common practise. Big turn over with office staff. New staff has no idea which nurses have been there the longest. No loyalty to long term nurses. Office staff has little if any experience in the medical field.
