Pros

Fun team outings but with cliques that don’t welcome new employees. The director of this office is amazing but he doesn’t understand that training an employee properly will lead to a successful group of people that want to stay long term. It’s an ok company if you’re newly graduated from high school or community college for some corporate office experience.

Cons

So many to name but I’ll start with missed paychecks. No training while being hired for a role you are not familiar with at all. The employee “training” me was so unprofessional and managers here are a joke. Pay is awful btw.

Pros

Maxim (espically this position) can serve as a stepping stone early in your career, offering exposure to a fast paced healthcare staffing environment. It’s best approached as a short term learning opportunity rather than a long term role. Would only recommend it for that, if you have nothing else. Because of the amount of time spent in the office (40+ hours a week), you do tend to build close relationships with coworkers.

Cons

There is no guaranteed work from home option, which depends entirely on office leadership, performance, and area. Pay is very low, and raises or bonuses are tied to office numbers rather than individually. Benefits are below average. The work culture can be extremely toxic, with frequent gossip about coworkers. Mistakes are often addressed or shown publicly through office wide emails, leaving little room for privacy or constructive feedback. Additionally, interactions with clients and patients can be very difficult. It is common to be spoken to rudely, yelled at, or disrespected.. even when you are doing your best to help. This making the role emotionally exhausting and demoralizing over time.
