Pros

I have nothing good to say about the company. It is a horrible company to work for.

I am a transfer from Navient DOE and the difference between the two employers is like night and day. Maximus offers very low PTO. ZERO sick days. They have a point system so if you call out the day of, you’re out of luck (and possibly out of a job). The bonus structure is a JOKE. There is basically no room for growth. Navient had a yearly review structure where you would get a 5% increase every year … Maximus gives you nothing. The job is a call center job and the stress is not worth the amount of pay they give you. DO NOT APPLY FOR THE BILINGUAL POSITIONS. They will make sure to give you twice the work and half of the benefits. You’ll never be able to request PTO and you only get an extra dollar for your extra work. The supervisors/team leads themselves are great. The company just really sucks. I have been diagnosed with anxiety and depression after working here for six months.

You are able to work from home as a Quality Analyst

The job was decent before the buy-out. The quota can get the best of you sometimes if you can't beat other people to the reports and if you don't meet your quota that week, you're expected to work in the middle of the night or early morning when less people are on to work towards meeting it. After the buy-out, they stripped away all bonuses and incentives to work harder. Even if the work is not available, you better still make quota. There are people doing some SERIOUSLY unethical stuff there just to make quota. Something I was not comfortable doing. The medical insurance is very expensive and the benefits are not good. The pay is not comparable to the workload. It destroyed my mental health working there. I hated every minute of it and had to talk myself out of quitting DAILY (many veteran employees have voiced this same feeling to me).
