Growing company but still in its infancy in many respects

Great company growth and profitability. Recently acquired an IT DoD Company, Acentia. Great opportunity for junior professionals looking for entry into the work place. Project bonuses for all project level employees.
Cons
Federal sector is growing but is still in its infancy in respect to navigating the federal space and management approach. Great opportunity for junior professionals as that is within the range of salary the company wishes to provide its employees. Not many good opportunities for senior professionals as the pay range at Maximus does not afford seasoned senior experienced professionals for their projects. Shared Services model is difficult at times for them to execute due to company growth and demand from individual projects to address project specific needs at critical junctures. Federal PMO focus is implementation of new project delivery and does a poor job of standing up new projects as many of the project managers are inexperienced and junior although some have PMP certification. No reach back or support from Federal PMO to the projects on standardization and implemention of Federal standards after project start up implemented. Projects are working in silos.
