      Great benefits and retirement packages

      Cons

      Not for anyone trying to have a family- they expect you to put work first and family second. If vice verse- then the ladder to a growth in career is cut short. They also look at investing and promoting the newly hired rather than investing on the people who'd actually put their time and devotion into the work and company.

      Pros

      Decent pay, fantastic benefits. Large company has the capability to move you to new locations or into new construction types. Employee ownership

      Cons

      Work life balance is way off. Consistently work 60hrs/week. On smaller jobs with smaller staff sizes, the hours got up to 70+.

      Pros

      Lots of training and they push to get you on a variety of scopes of work.

      Cons

      By switching engineers to different scopes so frequently issues tend to fall through the crack until it snow balls into big issues that create unnecessary fire drills and stress.
