Pros

As an intern you will get exposed to a lot of aspects of the construction field. The employees are willing to teach you the ropes.

Cons

As a intern you are usually just given the task to post RFIs, give more responsibilities to the interns so that we can learn

Pros

This place is all about culture and the people who work here. "Total package" benefits is second to none. Large company with a small company feel. Upper management is actively engaged with open communication on current company successes and failures. Training programs are the best in the nation for construction. Peer group learning is mandatory. Opportunities to do more and excel are there in abundance. I love it!

Cons

McCarthy has a hard time getting rid of those that do not perform. This is a detriment to a 100% employee owned company and to those working hard to ensure all partners are successful.

Mccarthy is a great company with great benefits. Their core values represent most employees to the T. Can't say enough about Mccarthy.
