Pros

Wages are good. ESOP is a plus.

Cons

Horrible culture for women/gays/minorities. Very sexist, degrading remarks are common. I have seen and heard truly shocking things: pictures of penises texted to me, comments during trainings about women’s bodies by the presenters, n-words dropped on sites. Men are invited on trips, lunches, golf days every month but women are not. Healthcare plans are awful. No work-life balance at all.

Very supportive and geared towards making a better product. Every opportunity to have an open collaboration and upper management are open to input.

Cons

Long hours and at times a daunting amount of work. An inconsistent amount of work as well, even on slower times it is an unspoken expectation to stay late.

Great company, employee owned, and very talented co-workers. McCarthy provides field operations staff with all the tools necessary to do their job efficiently.

Cons

PM's lead the job; Superintendents take a back seat to PM's and report to them instead of being partners on an equal playing field.
