Pros

Pay wages are realistic if employed in California due to Union regulations. Opportunities within “McCarthy Building” not “Mcarthy mapping”. Resources are endless with cooperation of management, tools and equipment to complete task are provided. Human Resources is actively engaged with employees.

Cons

Turn over rate is absolutely terrible. Individuals are faced with no option but to work for the competitive companies after a toxic management environment . Will be managed by a team out of your State; no actual management in own region that you are hired in. Unrealistic timelines and bidding of projects. If salary overworked and not compensated fairly. Favoritism within the starting individuals of Mapping Department. Will have Salary employees do union work and leave no work for union qualified individuals.
