Transphobic

Pros

-easy to learn work I guess. Work instructions are easy and thorough.

Cons

-poor management: they don’t care about their employees. They will sit and watch you be harassed by predatory men and do nothing about it. This company is VERY transphobic/homophobic. They’ll never admit to that, they’ll just watch you get “othered” and do nothing about it. HR isn’t to protect you, it’s to protect the company, remember that. And if you forget, they will have no problem showing you just how true that sentiment is. -low pay: do you want a Christmas bonus after working yourself ragged and ruining your body for a job that’s barely paying you over minimum wage? Too bad. You get a piece of pizza instead (which you better like pepperoni, because they will NOT accommodate you if you have dietary restrictions, and they will make it hard on you if you ask them to). -bad environment: they only keep the front offices (where no one is doing physical work) cool during the summer and heated during the winter. -OSHA violations: if you wanna see tons of them, get a job in plating. If you’ve ever wanted cancerous chemicals dripped on you, the old line is perfect for that. -really loves temp workers: will hire anyone, expect you (the employee) to train them, and then fire them after a week and replace them with other person. -boasts about “profit sharing” but I worked there for three years and never got any sort of profit sharing. They did build a new cafeteria that no one asked for though. Glad they had enough profit to do that. -while we’re at it, let’s talk about the cafeteria. It’s catered by a place that charges $10 for a soggy sandwich. Coffee used to be 50 cents, it was a dollar by the time I left. Even the healthy options aren’t that healthy either unless you’re straight up just eating an apple or orange by itself. Huge wall of candy though. -they deleted my other review but I will keep posting this one here if I notice it gone when I come back to check.

Horrible Place To Work

Pros

The one or two people you can trust that won’t stab you in the back

Cons

They have no problem getting rid of you, even after 15-30 years with the company. They just want to pass the work onto and have 2 people do the work of 5 and save money. Very poor management and leads, a lot are on some sort of power trip and let their title think they can get away with anything. Wastes $2 million on “plex” that I bet STILL isn’t up and running.
