Cons

Salary scales are misleading. Almost no one reached midpoint and you can forget about the top of the range. Very difficult to get promoted as management staff.

It was a wonderful experience working under the supervision of a professor. She really helped guide me through the world of academia, explaining publication processes and bringing me to conferences.

Cons

The pay could have been a bit better, but I am still grateful for the opportunity.
