Pros

Thought I would retire there. Spent 10 plus years of my life only to be let go because they were "downsizing". Maybe if they would downsize on some attorney lunches and elaborate retreats they wouldn't have to eliminate the jobs of those who really need them.

Cons

Too numerous to list in this small box.

Pros

Excellent benefits & compensation package.

Cons

HORRIBLE management [starts from the top] at the Baltimore office. Unprofessional behavior from the MP; berates employees and has used profane language while yelling & screaming at underlings].

Pros

Absolutely none. I cannot think of one positive for this firm.

Cons

Support staff managers and supervisors in the Chicago office are totally unqualified to be in the positions they hold. Support staff walk on eggshells just waiting to be fired for some ridiculous reason. Very toxic atmosphere and very unhappy employees. Fortunately I will be retiring soon and happy to be leaving. Since McGuirewoods took over the firm has not been the same and has gotten worse every year. I would definitely not recommend this firm to anyone looking to find employment.
