Was really good at one time

Pros

At one time I could name so many things that were great about working for McKesson. Now; however, it's just not that easy.

Cons

At one time McKesson was a wonderful company to work for. It had great benefits, good pay, flexible hours, and a reasonably fun work environment. You actually felt like your work mattered and you were not just a number. Somewhere around 4 years ago they seemed to lose their way and even more recently they made changes that were touted as being great for everyone. What that really meant was that they were going to take away benefits from veteran employees, namely accrued paid time off and go to an "unlimited" PTO plan. What this actually meant was that you manager now controlled how much PTO they thought you deserved. You can imagine how this could be weaponized with "more deserving" team members getting whatever they want and others getting the left overs.

Pros

Good pay and good work life balance.

Cons

Many people stay here for good salary, but due to this - it’s really hard to move up into leadership roles.

Pros

My immediate managers are solid. Sales have been fine so job security is not a current concern.

Cons

Relay's products are not robust enough; customers are consistently frustrated and that makes implementation and support frustrating. The tools employees get to do their jobs are insufficient. Everyone is overworked. Senior leadership's decisionmaking is questionable. Communication among departments is poor.
