Pros

If you are energetic, and self motivated, this is the company for you. You must be willing to tout your achievements and be proud of your accomplishments in order to succeed.

Cons

Routine restructuring leads to annual RIFs. There is no loyalty to tenure; it's all about who you know and bringing friends and colleagues in to "change things up."

Decent job, compensation dismal..

Pros

Recently implemented flex time, casual attire, achievable productivity metrics - once familiar with expectations. Open door policy to management for the most part and management works hard to find a position or job tasks to those that may be struggling in positions they were originally hired for, which is sometimes rare at larger companies.

Cons

Overall compensation package - 401k is available, but salary is low so not really able to contribute to plan and meet daily expenses; stock purchase is available, but cannot afford even at reduced employee purchase price; costs associated with health care plan deductibles which range from $750-2,250- although the company gives $750 towards healthcare deductible once that amount is gone you must meet your deductible, and on that salary most people that have chronic conditions will have a lot of out of pocket expenses upfront. Inconsistent policies and procedures and lack of structured new hire on-boarding process, which adds to new hire confusion and allows some to fail or perform poorly for an extended period of time in the workplace. Depending on your career goals and objectives the opportunities for advancement w/n the location are limited, but outside of the location McKesson has a nationwide footprint, provided the office is allowing people to leave due to the high turnover rate.
