Flexible scheduling is available. (Compressed work week, no fixed arrival time, etc.) Ability to work from home in some departments.

Cons

McKesson underpays by roughly twenty percent to its competitive markets. McKesson does not promote more qualified individuals, rather, only individuals that have been with the company the longest are promoted. McKesson promotes managers with no understanding of the business. McKesson promotes managers that do not have well developed people management skills. McKesson does not offer competitive health, retirement, or incentive benefits. Yearly raises are fixed at 2-3%, regardless of performance.

- Management disconnected from staff - Lack of flexibility within defined roles, silos - Barriers to information sharing - Tend to throw bodies at problems instead of appropriate skills or expertise - Poor time tracking process and expectations stifle growth and flexibility - Titles do NOT match level of experience or knowledge in many cases - Lack of focus on quality, focus predominantly on deadlines

Senior leadership really does have a strong commitment to core values We are a world leader in our industry We work hard to ensure equal access to life saving drugs for under-served regions of the world I'm proud of the presence we have in every community we serve I work with some of the most amazing people I've ever met

I read it in other comments and have to agree, middle management is killing us The vision and passion of our executive and senior leadership is completely lost in translation on the way to implementation Our benefits have taken a ridiculous nosedive and unless something changes, many of us will no longer be able to afford to work here
