Pros

The pay seems fair. Some of the people are awesome. The company pushes quite a bit of money... and drugs.

Cons

There are many. There is quite a bit of infighting between groups. They create management positions without direct reports for cronies. They expect you to be at their beck and call. They are poorly supported in operations and other technical positions.

Pros

Very large company with a number of diverse positions, so you can easily try different jobs while staying within the same company. Good place to learn about the healthcare industry. Many of the employees are very friendly. Pay, benefits and work-life balance are good. Perfect company if you're the type of person who works to live.

Cons

It's a corporation, so there is pleanty of bureaucracy and hoops to jump thru, which leads to a lot of inefficiencies and wasted time. Communication is very poor, both between management and coworkers. Employees tend to horde information and are not willing to share it. Company culture is extremely resistant to change. Culture also has a mentality that is the exact opposite to "the buck stops here."
