      Pros

      Good money and benefits, great opportunity for advancement.

      Cons

      After 30 years of dedicated service to McLane I was told my position would be eliminated. I was let go with a very small severance package and have endured many financial hardships since. McLane does not appreciate its employees or the faithful and dedicated service they have given.

      Pros

      Very good compensation. Not much else, you are pretty much told what to do each day.

      Cons

      Favortism - Good old boys club! General Managers who are very insecure and not supportive of their people. Promotions are not done from within. Company keeps a bio on each employee and manager so that those in senior management do not have to get to know each teammate personally.

      Pros

      Not really anything good to say about this company. If I had to pick something I guess I would say money is decent after a year.

      Cons

      No social life at all. Job demands overtime every day and management will berate the team for excessive overtime without regard to necessities of job. This company is in a race to the bottom, where employees work harder for less and the top brass reaps all the rewards.
