Pros

Best pay around the area, but still less than national average. Overtime available if wanted. Growing with opportunities for advancement. New facility, clean, pretty. Interesting flow for visitors. Separate from staff entry.

Cons

As they are growing, there are growing pains. Still learning how to best be efficient. Not attracting renowned providers (at that time anyhow). Staffing is a challenge as the census can fluctuate drastically in a relatively short amount of time.

Pros

Great support at program. Faculty are very helpful and take your opinion seriously as long as its within reason. Great inpatient experience. Great salary. Oportunities for moonlighting. Lots of procedures. Ability to do colonoscopy and get certified if your motivated.

Cons

Like any residency clinic can be chaotic at times but its not a deal breaker. This is the South be okay with a little conservative core.
