Pros

It is a low stress environment. Very friendly people. It is a great first job. I would highly recommend to a new graduate.

Cons

The work is pretty tedious and the repetitive. Advancement is available but the turn over rate is very high. Not the best for moral.

Pros

Some great people work here, benefits aren't too expensive. Great opportunity to pick up useful experience.

Cons

Team leads and upper management don't have effective techniques to train or support the people they are in charge of. Everyone is overworked and there is an extremely aggressive attitude between departments. Seriously, information is not only not shared but the mentality is that of sabotaging departments by withholding crucial information and pushing tasks back and forth while the customers and clients are suffering. No room for advancement and all moves within the company will be lateral unless you are best friends with someone in a position of power.

I ‘m a new employee at MedRisk and my observations have been positive as I continue my onboarding process. I’ve observed that the organization has experienced tremendous growth over the past few years and anticipates continued growth. Specializing in worker’s compensation revenue management, the demand for talent continues to grow as the business continues to expand and evolve. All aspects of the revenue management stream are expertly handled via call centers staffed with diversified, highly trained professionals. Rising stars and exceptional talent are quickly identified and recognized. In short, you work hard to learn the business, you are rewarded and after you are fully immersed in the business, you have multiple opportunities to advance. MedRisk is a culture of recognition for high performers! I’m glad to be here.

Cons

Competition for parking spaces can be a little frustrating, but upper management is working on this.
