We appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback around your experience at MedVet. We strive to always foster an environment that is positive, teamwork-oriented, and compassionate. Furthermore, we aim to grow leaders that promote an inclusive and collaborative environment, all while being approachable for any concerns from team members. MedVet prioritizes transparency and communication among all caregivers, and we see these qualities as key elements for a healthy work environment. MedVet is committed to serving our Referral Partners and community 24/7 and we recognize that this requires mindfulness around scheduling and how we prioritize our team member's needed time to relax with our continued needs on those less-preferred days and shifts. We are always looking for ways to further innovate and improve so that team members do not feel over extended. We encourage you to reach out to your HR Partner, Clinical Manager or Hospital Director for further discussion. Thank you for your feedback.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand the challenging demands in the veterinary profession and are committed to developing and maintaining a culture of wellbeing in our hospital. We continue our focus on internal training opportunities along with strategic recruiting to attract the best and most skilled talent in our field. Providing the top patient care for all of our patients will always be a top priority for our organization. Cultivating an environment of compassion and empathy is what we strive for. We want to ensure our teams can navigate the challenging emergency and specialty veterinary medicine space and encourage employees to make their mental and physical health a priority. Resources available to employees include mental wellbeing apps, our Employee Assistance Program, and the creation of a well-being room. Our local and regional leadership are here to support all caregivers and we welcome feedback. We encourage any concerned team members to reach out to their local HR Partner, Clinical Manager or Hospital Director for further discussion. We appreciate feedback as it helps us innovate and improve.

Pros

The culture and support that I’ve received in my first few weeks has been phenomenal. Everyone is kind and supportive

Cons

This is a tough profession. Compassion fatigue and burnout can occur and often hiring isn’t easy because of a lack of candidates
