I wouldn't exactly consider this a con, but the company is young and quickly growing, which means flexibility is paramount. You may be moved around to different positions or teams where you are most needed.

As with any startup company, there are some challenges that take place. However, I do believe Medallion does an amazing job at addressing and providing resolutions for any challenges that arise.

Pros

Working within the Engineering-Product-Design (EPD) org is truly a collaborative experience. It's an interesting problem space and you can tell that teams are motivated in designing and delivering solutions that make a significant impact! I truly appreciate how leadership encourages idea generation from every part of the organization. There's certainly a lot of room to grow here, as well as the opportunity to really own projects end-to-end. Although this is a remote company, there are planned offsites every year, which I have really enjoyed so far. Overall, it certainly feels good to be working somewhere that I can recommend to others without hesitation!

Cons

Not a con - but something to keep in mind: This is a startup and development is a fast-paced environment. Coming into the healthcare space as a newcomer can be a little challenging as it pertains to gaining the context needed to deliver effective solutions, however the EPD org is full of collaborative individuals who gladly provide helpful context and documentation.
