Pros

- Sales people - you can make a lot of money here :) - Team culture is best in class in terms of openness, communication and collaboration - Cross-functional work is essential, easy to navigate and actually fun, there are a lot of very smart people across the org working super hard, which creates a virtuous cycle of motivation - Direct collaboration with C-level is encouraged and a crucial aspect in winning enterprise deals, hierarchy is flat and access to leadership across entire company is unparalleled - VP of Sales goes to bat for team members every time and puts team above self - No micromanagement - goals are clear and it is your responsibility to meet and exceed - I joined when Medallion was <30 employees, now 250+, have seen the growing pains and how effectively the organization mobilized to overcome issues and revamp entire business units when necessary, never seen a company as nimble or effective in working through growing pains in my entire career

Cons

- Entrenched players in the provider network management space can be difficult to work around given 10-15 year relationships with health systems and payers. Medallion is moving upstream effectively but more hard work lies ahead.

Lean staffing and over managed

Pros

Work remotely, decent pay , they provide equipment

Cons

Over managed to a degree of disfunction. They create management roles under no premise with no reason why it is needed. When employees and managers show the need for more staff it’s met with resistance and “ this is a start up”. But will PIP employees for falling behind the amount of work. Instead of using the staffs experience to know when they can’t do more, management will create metrics without any data that is to be met. This was a great company at first but has taken a turn for the ugly side of corporate.
